UI Design
This project focused on unifying the registration and login experience across all SRMG digital publications through a centralized Single Sign-On (SSO) system. The initiative aimed to eliminate fragmented authentication experiences, improve usability for readers, and establish a scalable foundation for shared features such as unified accounts, comments, and personalization across brands.
My role
Lead the project on the SSO initiative, focusing on the user experience of registration and login flows across multiple SRMG publications. Included auditing existing experiences, benchmarking global media platforms, designing unified yet brand-flexible authentication flows, and aligning UI/UX decisions with technical teams.
The Process
The work started with auditing existing registration and login experiences across SRMG publications and benchmarking leading global media platforms. Based on the findings, a unified authentication experience was designed to support centralized registration and login while allowing visual flexibility for individual brands. User flows, UI components, and technical diagrams were created to align design, security, and engineering requirements, ensuring the solution could scale across current and future SRMG products.
The Outcome
A unified registration and login experience across SRMG publications. Reduced friction for users accessing multiple SRMG platforms. A scalable identity foundation enabling future features such as unified profiles, comments, and personalization. Improved consistency across brands while preserving individual brand identity. A clearer, more maintainable authentication experience for both users and internal teams.
